The 10 Secrets to save money for an Orlando / Disney Vacation
Follow these tips and you're bound to save hundreds – thousands – of dollars in your dream trip.
1. Start with a budget
Plan in advance how much money will be spent on transport, accommodation, meals and entertainment – including tickets for the park as an important issue. The total price may shock you, but it is better to suffer sticker shock now than when you're there and it is too late to reconsider their plans. Knowing how much things cost in advance, not only to prepare for the worst, but also tell you where should be looking for places to save money.
2. Book in advance.
This is obvious. Book airline tickets a couple of weeks before departure, and is willing to pay through the nose. Book months in advance and avail the best deals possible.
3. Travel during off periods.
Most people like to travel when children go to school for the summer – and especially when they are away on vacation as Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Fourth of July. This is exactly when you should not travel, because that's when all indices higher charges. Florida is hot, so consider traveling before or after – or if you should take your trip in summer, avoid the holiday weekend!
4. Use the bonus points, miles and discounts
This is the time to check your balance on the credit card that gives miles frequent flyer, not to mention their frequent flyer accounts. Try to plan your air travel early so as to prevent blackout dates. Check discounts car rental too.
5. Use coupons!
When you arrive at the airport, there will be a screen full of various booklets full of coupons and special offers. Take them and use them! You can find deals on everything from rental cars to meals in places.
6. Purchase tickets for theme parks in advance
Did you know you can save money by buying theme park tickets online in advance and not in the door? In some cases, seven-day passes can be purchased online for less than an entry in a single pass at the entrance of the park. So not only plan ahead, check out the website for all the parks you visit buy in advance – and save some significant money the process.
7. As for the Orlando Visitors Center
Another great place to score discounted theme park is in the visitor center of Orlando, located at 8723 International Drive. 9. Eat meals outside the theme parks
Food Theme Park can be expensive, unhealthy, and both times So grab a light lunch in the park! if you must, but try to save money on breakfast and dinner. There are plenty restaurants near the theme parks, including several all-you-can-eat buffets that will fill even after the longest day of riding attractions and see shows. Better yet, find accommodation, as a holiday home that offers a full kitchen. Then you can shop for the foods your family like in the supermarket and use the money they spend in restaurants for more exciting activities.
10. Stay in a holiday home instead of a hotel
