New career in real estate in Ontario Canada, yes or no?

I live in Ontario, Canada and am seriously considering a career change from retail real estate and love the advice or opinions of people who have done the same or the current real estate agents out there. Is it a solution profitable? What are some of the challenges they face? Do you have downtime when they do not earn anything for a while? What is the best way to train and start? Please give me some tips to help seal my decision. Thank you.

You can be financially rewarding, but there will be times when you have no money comes what has to be a good Budget. I'm really a thrill out of finding just the right house for someone, or help someone get a better price than they thought they were going to his house. There are different types of real estate agents and come from varied backgrounds. I do all residential townhouses, but many condos or vacation properties, investment properties, commercial, farms, not all types of specialties.
