How much does a real estate agent charge me if I'm looking to rent an apartment in NSW?

I live in Wollongong and I'm looking out for an apartment or rental unit, and I wondered how much a broker would charge to help me with this. It is also what we charge for designation (ie, the first meeting with them), in addition to their commissions? thanks in advance

In NSW there is no charge for renting a property other than the rental bond and real – they charge the owner a% of rent.
